The game starts out slow enough to not be overwhelming while you are still trying to get used to the controls, and right at the moment you get used to how it handles the game kicks off in earnest and the challenge steps up to match it. Had alot of fun playing it, I actually zoned out a bit while listening to part of a podcast just vibing. Will def be playing more of this one later.
I look forward to seeing what comes from everyone involved. ALSO IT LOOKS FANTASTIC! great work!
Thank you I'm glad the gameplay had this effect! We were going for something that becomes spontaneous haha
It looks and plays how my mind tells me the original did. Also the level end screen is ADORABLE. good work.
Thanks for playing!
We're really glad you liked it :)
The wizard character not just gaining a stack of magic every time you cast a spell instead of having to pause the game every turn to cast a single spell to maximize his use was a weird thing that I would probably change because alot of the spells are set up to use at the start before units start moving.
That tiny nitpick aside I just lost an hour to this and will def be coming back to play more of it to try and beat the king and try out units i havent used before. Bravo
*update* I have lost more than an hour to this. The game is fantastic and has it's hooks in me. It lives on my second monitor atm.
It's like asteroids except once a "pea" goes offscreen it doesnt come from the other side it's just gone, and it doesnt have the momentum system either. Not terrible, but it's such a simple experience that I probably won't play it again.
